***Training A Catahoula Leopard Dog Free-Mini Course***

http://bit.ly/2f2t1d5The origin of the Catahoula Leopard Dog can be traced to the state of Louisiana, in the United States.
It's been theorized that the Catahoula derive from War Dogs which were brought to Louisiana some time during the 16th century by Hernando de Soto. The Dogs of War were composed of Mastiffs and Greyhounds. The native population inbreed some of these dogs which had been left behind with
their own semi-domesticated Red Wolve stock. Subsequently settlers arriving from France in Louisiana
during the 17th century had the Beauceron amoung their cargo. Today's Catahoula are the end result of
mixing the Beauceron with the dogs created by crossing the Dogs of War with the Red Wolves.

These dogs are bright, spirited and swift animals. They learn commands in short order. They are
naturally curious. They exhibit a self determining quality and are fiercely defensive of their family and
territory. They make exceptional guard dogs. They are largely very affectionate and tame with children.
They are considerably aloof with unknow persons including children. This aloofness does not exhibit
itself in the case of puppies, but becomes pronounced in adult dogs of this species. In order to train
these dogs it take a person with a firm hand who is capable of being a pack leader for this breed. If
you display these qualities you can be very successful in training the Catahoula Leopard. Remember
that it takes large amounts of compassion and determination to effectively train any dog. That is
certainly the case with the Catahoula Leopard. You can get a FREE Mini-Course that will provide
